Our Story
Istela was founded by Sam Strange, whose career began in the military before moving into medical engineering. Over the years, Sam progressed through operations, sales, and account management roles within established medical engineering companies. With extensive experience supporting OEMs, NHS, private healthcare, and military clients through complex challenges like Brexit and COVID, Sam has gained valuable insight into what truly works in the industry.
While the market is largely shaped by a few dominant providers, we saw an opportunity to offer a fresh, agile alternative—one that is genuinely bespoke, reactive, and centred on your unique needs.
