External Pacemaker Analyser
The EXPMT 2000 is a compact, battery-operated external pacemaker analyser designed to test and validate all functions of external pacemakers, including dual chamber (atrial and ventricular) and transcutaneous (transthoracic) devices. It builds on the earlier EXPMT 1000, adding a menu-driven interface with eight tactile keys and a large four-line LCD display.
The analyser supports demand mode and synchronous testing, pacer and ECG simulation, sensed and paced refractory period testing, and pulse width, rate, and energy measurement, alongside 50/60Hz immunity testing. Five ECG snaps are included as standard, and an RS-232 serial port allows test measurements to be printed or sent to an external device for long-term record-keeping.
A newer 960-2000 model extends test sensitivity up to 20mV, supporting testing of Medtronic pacemakers including the 5392. The EXPMT 2000 ships with a hard carrying case and interface cables, ready for routine use across clinical engineering workloads.
