MicroSim Cardiac Output Simulator

MicroSim Cardiac Output Simulator

MicroSim Cardiac Output Simulator

Patient Simulator

The MicroSim Cardiac Output Simulator is a standalone instrument designed to simulate true cardiac output waveforms, supporting verification of thermal dilution cardiac output monitoring systems. It simulates Baxter Edwards catheter systems and offers stronger testing capability than devices requiring a connection to a separate patient simulator.

The simulator can produce four blood flow rates, two blood temperatures, and two injectate temperatures, with a total of 32 normal curves and square waves available to the user. Four tactile keys keep operation simple, while LED indicators clearly show the test being performed, and a power-up self-test confirms the instrument is functioning correctly before use.

Compact and powered by a 9V alkaline battery, the MicroSim Cardiac Output Simulator supports confident, repeatable verification of cardiac output monitoring equipment in clinical engineering workshops.
