The MultiPro 2000 is a full-function electrical safety analyser and multi-parameter simulator, engineered to test to US standards (ANSI/AAMI ES1, NFPA 99) and international standard IEC60601-1 via user-selectable patient loads. It measures line voltage, chassis resistance, chassis leakage current, and lead leakage current, alongside wall outlet polarity testing.

Beyond electrical safety measurement, the MultiPro 2000 also functions as a waveform simulator, with a 12-lead ECG normal sinus rhythm display and sine, square, and triangle performance waveforms across multiple amplitude and rate selections. With storage for over 5,000 test records, results can be uploaded to a PC for printing and long-term record-keeping via the included software.

The unit's RS-232 port simplifies downloading results to a computer or serial printer, and its compact, rugged design makes it well suited to both workshop-based and on-the-go biomedical engineering work.
